+ I have a quick break to sneak in an entry, so here I go… This past weekend, all of the sisters (there’s six of us) plus cousin Shanna went prom dress shopping for my sister Jaime. We hit up David’s Bridal first, but left unsuccessful. Next up was Bloomingdales. They have so many adorable dresses! We all walked through the gowns department, and grabbed any dress we thought was cute. I think she tried on almost 30 dresses–it was a lot. She did end up picking one out, but it wasn’t my first pick. The dress she picked is very cute though. I thought it was kind of funny how all the sisters were living vicariously through her, and wanting her to pick their dress. Only two of us got to go to prom. Anyway, Sandy’s going to do Jaime’s hair, and I’ll be doing her makeup. She’s gonna be hot!

+ I wish I could record Max singing his lullaby for you all to hear. It’s super super cute. He knows what a camera is, and clams up immediately when he sees it.
+ Been looking at preschools for Max, but it is kind of overwhelming. Not to mention expensive! Need to do more research before we decide on one. In the meantime, he’ll still be taking his speech therapy classes.
+ Planning on visiting Madison & Chicago next month. I am looking forward to seeing our family/friends, but definitely not the drive.
+ I bought the hubby an iPhone a couple months ago, and he is still amazed with it. Talks about how much he loves it at least every other day. It is a pretty cool gadget, but I am not as infatuated as he is. He just thinks that I don’t appreciate the technology. What I do really like about it is how we are able to put several of Max’s favorite cartoons such as Ni Hao Kai Lan and Max&Ruby on it, and he can watch it anywhere. If he’s getting a little antsy when we’re out eating and he’s bored with coloring the menu, we bust out the iPhone. So convenient.
i need to get me an iphone too for tiff. lol.
Prom…how exciting. I never went to prom. Sad.
Teng has been eyeing the iTouch. He talks about it all the time.
I read Sandy’s posting about your sister’s prom. How fun and exciting!!! I should do a blog about my prom 8 years ago! Tthe two that went to prom were you and Sandy?
My Dad has the IPhone too and he thinks it’s so cool. I can’t do cool phones. All I need is for the phone to dial and receive calls… and an occasional game is good too. =P
Did you go to Sandy’s spa thing yesterday? I wanted to but had a hair cut appointment. Bad day for getting a haircut b/c of the stinky weather!
Tell me about daycare….we’ll be shelling out over $20k a year for daycare once the next kid comes along! Yes, you read right, $20k. Not that he goes to a fancy daycare or anything, that’s just the going rate here. :( Anyway, let me know when you’ll be in Chicago, maybe we can meet up or you can finally come visit. I still have the pictures from our prom…damn, we looked good! :)
