I like:
+ this picture of Max
+ this cover of Cannonball by Vienna
+ these prints
+ these necklaces
+ this conversation with my son:
Me: “Max, did you go poo poo?”
Max: (quiet)
Me: “What do you say?”
Max: “May… I… Have….. Poo Poo!”We have been teaching him to ask for things in the form of: “May I have ______, please?” And it’s worked wonderfully when he wants something. He knows to insert whatever he wants into the sentence. We’ve also been working on answering “yes” or “no” questions too, so that’s what I was expecting from him when I asked him if he went #2. So funny.
+ this cookbook by Jessica Seinfeld (Jerry Seinfeld’s wife), and even though it has some good recipes, I still don’t know if Max would eat a lot of it. The idea of pureeing veggies & mixing it into food is nothing new, but I do like the tips & advice the book gives.
Other Stuff:
+ I’m a bit sad… Somehow, my laptop mysteriously broke at the hinge. It looks like someone probably jumped down & body slammed it. Ok, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but it doesn’t close right & there’s a chunk missing, and it is really bothering me how it could happen without me or Mike not noticing. It’s possible Max stepped on it, but he’d have to step on it at the right spot & also step on it pretty aggressively, so I couldn’t imagine him doing it. I really do not want to buy a new one because the guts of the laptop is perfectly fine. Of course, the hubby’s probably glad to have a reason to buy a new computer, like this one, which coincidently was revealed today.
+ Hubby’s attending his annual nerd (I say that with great affection) conference in San Jose next month, and I thought about tagging along again, but he might go to Tokyo for another conference later this year, and of course I’d rather go there, so I’m going save for that trip instead.
Love the picture of Max and the conversation too!
ooooh, heart the macbook air and apple tv, Jobs is genius!! sorry to hear about your laptop. i get a bit dysfunctional too, hahah.
max is too cute and at the great age of being funny. =)
take care, ciao.
that is a cool photo!
i’d probably choose tokyo over SJ, too :)
i love those prints…just what i’ve been looking for to spruce up our blank walls. hmmm…
max is too silly :-). yes, i would rather go to tokyo than SJ too.
Great picture of Max. Funny how you say “the guts of your computer is fine” - we totally understand but someone in the early 19th century would be like ‘whha’?.
awesome shot!
awesome photo Minna! That is so funny what Max said, lol. So cute too! Tokyo?! I wanna go too!!!
Fantastic photo of Max. Absolutely great. Sorry that we won’t see you in February. But given the choice between San Jose and Tokyo, I’d chose Tokyo. (Plus, San Jose is just a 35 mile drive for me.)
Aunt Cindi
I got the Jessica Seinfeld cookbook for Christmas. I agree, neat reciptes but not sure Mason will eat some of that stuff. Saw the necklaces, did you know that Giada DeLaurentiis’ husband is a designer for Anthropologie? How’s potty training going? Much better now on our end. Hehe.
Tokyo is definitely better than San Jose.
Oohh those necklaces are gorgeous! I’m such a sucker for accessories. Max is so cute with his lil head stickin out of the water… :D Ok..if you go to Japan….I’m gonna be sooooo JEALOUS!
Thats such a cute photo of Max!
Wow! and Tokyo? how fun!
