Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. As for the issue with Max & Halloween, I didn’t make myself very clear. He LOVES going outside. Being anywhere outside. Riding in the car. Even if we are driving for 45 minutes, he is enjoying it. Once he hears the word “outside”, he is beyond reasoning. He drops everything, and runs for the door. It may be cold outside, but he thinks he can just run out without socks & shoes. When we tell him that he needs shoes, socks & a jacket, it’s like we are speaking a foreign language. He’ll start to cry & throw a fit. It’s like he can’t wait to get outside & putting on socks & shoes is a hindrance. This happens a lot of the time, and I wonder if it may be my fault. Maybe for him, going out is such a luxury that he gets a little crazy when he does get to out. I mean, we do go out at least 4 times/week, so I don’t really think I am depriving him. When I think about it, I do feel awfully guilty that I might have caused this behavior. We have learned to just say O-U-T-S-I-D-E whenever we are talking to each other. He doesn’t throw tantrums very often, but this is one of the times that he does.

Anyway, have a good weekend. Probably won’t be back for another week. Have a paper due & exam to study for.

You were right, Max’s costume is way too cute! Roan was really wound up on Halloween too. I had to put him in a time out. Imagine trick-or-treaters at the door, with the kid of the household wailing in the background. I think he was just too excited and had had a little too much candy already. Sorry about your birthday dinner.

That’s cute. But I don’t think it’s your fault; don’t be too hard on yourself. I think you’re such a good mom!

BTW, that’s an amazing costume you made for Max. I’m loving it! That’s too bad he couldn’t go out for trick-or-treating. We had a hard time with Adam too because he refused to wear his costume. But then when he saw the other kids in their costumes, he got into the groove of it.

Happy birthday. Did Mike get you anything?

Good luck on your exam and paper. I sure don’t miss that part of school at all. LOL. But, you’re so disciplined. I was always the procrastinator. Heheheh. G’luck!

    Kaosong: Thanks!

Hiyana: Thanks! I really wanted a new designer handbag, but I really need clothes more, so I’ve been shopping all week, and that was my gift from Mike.

Sorry to hear that your b-day and halloween didn’t go as plan. My bad about Cue, La Belle Vie is the place to go if you want to be pampered, but I hear that it is mucho $$$$.

I cannot believe you put that together for Max, geeberz, that’s just awesome. For sure he’ll be ready next year. Take care.. study hard.

Great guess! I was definitely Cruella Deville! But, yknow, I couldn’t find a dalmation so I had a black dog with white spots. People couldn’t tell who I was at first. Hehehe.

You’re right, that’s one thing I forgot to mention; coming home to a grand foyer with marble columns and floors. There’s also restaurants and a coffee shop on the main floor. Happy day!
